"Meet Biddy from Galway, Ireland 🇮🇪 "Our homesteading journey started when we had we to leave our old house so we purchased a campervan and a container, loaded both up and went looking for a new home. We settled in a smallholding in north County Galway; the garden was 3 foot high with grass, nettles & brambles but we cleared it slowly and started growing food.
Thus is our first year but we have been able to grow variety of vegetables and harvest many fruits. We are hoping to add a poly tunnel & expand our growing area. We've never been so delighted to find the back to eden (BTE) gardening method. Has anyone else tried it? We have only weeded BTE area twice since March and watered once a week when in good weather in comparison to conventional beds watering every day and weeding every second week.
We are here to learn and educate others from our homesteading experience."
